About MSEC

Monique Sham is an independent Environmental Assessment Practitioner and the founder of MSEC. MSEC works in association with a core group of specialists in the environmental industry including botanists, freshwater specialists, air quality specialists and heritage consultants as well as town planners, architects and legal experts.

MSEC aims to provide an integrated and strategic approach to Environmental Assessment applications drawing on the expertise of specialists in the industry when needed.

Monique Sham founded MSEC with a commitment to environmental excellence and a deep understanding of South African environmental legislation and regulation, including NEMA, the NWA, and related regulatory frameworks.
